Street repair means no parking on Garmatter, Kibler and Harmon Road

Street repair will begin in Bluffton on Monday on Garmatter Street, Kibler Street and Harmon Road.

The street surface will be milled and removed in preparation for a new layer of asphalt.  

There will be no street parking until the milling is completed in the area, according to Bluffton police.

If council passes water surcharge on Monday all water bills go up $19 per month

Bluffton council will consider the final reading of an ordinance that sets a surcharge on water and sewer accounts during its Monday evening meeting.

If enacted, the legislation will add $19 per month to every resident's water bill.

In other action, council will review a report of property maintenance violations going back to 2013 of a residence at 145 W. Riley St.

Annual spring cleanup May 21-30

Bluffton's annual spring clean up takes place from Saturday, May 21, through Friday, May 30, according to Jamie Mehaffie, village administrator.

Dumpsters for village residents will be at the service department garage on North Spring Street.

Bluffton school board will act on approving the graduates of the class of 2016 on Monday evening during the regular May board meeting.
