Bluffton Soccer Club's May tourney will bring 1,500+ persons to Bluffton

Bluffton will be hopping on the weekend of May 14-15.

As previously announced on the Icon, the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce's arts and crafts show is Saturday, May 14. Also, the farmers' market will be held on the morning of the 14th.

One other event bringing hundreds of people to Bluffton on May 14-15 is the Bluffton Soccer Club's annual tournament.

In recent years, this tournament has averaged over 50 teams. This event draws teams from around northwest and west central Ohio for a busy weekend of soccer.

Funeral arrangements incomplete for Wanda Pannabecker

Wanda S. Pannabecker, 93, of Bluffton died Feb. 28, 2016,  at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.  Arrangements are incomplete at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton.

The Bluffton University women’s basketball team earned its first-ever HCAC Tournament title on Saturday, Feb. 27, with a 52-46 victory over the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Bluffton University women won the HCAA tournament defeating Rose-Hulman Saturday night at the Sommer Center. The win gives the 25-2 Beavers an automatic NCAA Division III tournament berth.
