Beth Bish, pediatric nurse practitioner with Bluffton Pediatrics, invited Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce members to help celebrate the medical practice's fifth birthday on Friday morning. Bish was the featured speaker at the chamber breakfast and updated chamber members on the growth of the practice.

PAULDING - Host Paulding outscored Bluffton 41-19 in the second half to rally for a 62-46 Northwest Conference girls basketball victory Thursday night.
Bluffton led 12-9 after one period and extended their edge to 27-21 at halftime as Laykin Garmatter splashed five first-half triples.
But the Lady Pirates scored just five third-period points and got outscored 27-14 in the final stanza to lose by 16.
Ronda K. Lehman, president, Mercy Health Lima, will share “My Leadership Journey in Health Care,” during Bluffton University’s Presidential Leadership Forum at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, in Yoder Recital Hall.
Lehman will reflect on experiences and challenges in the health care marketplace.
Named president of Mercy Health’s Lima Market in September, Lehman has served the Lima community as a member of Mercy Health since 1995, when she began as a pharmacy intern.
The next Crime Victim Services information session on volunteer guardianship is January 23, according to Elysia Bush of Bluffton, director, Elderly Victim Ministry and CVS Guardian Programs.
The sessions take place in the CVS training room, 220 N. Elizabeth St., Lima from noon-1 p.m. or 6-7:30 p.m. A light meal is served.
Court-sworn guardians of the person are needed to make decisions related to social services, housing and healthcare for individuals unable to make those decisions solely by themselves.
The following students from Hardin County, Bluffton, Mt. Cory and Jenera were named to the dean’s list for fall semester 2019-20 at Ohio Northern University.
To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must attain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and be enrolled full-time.
