Unlike many small towns, Bluffton's Main Street outlived the malls, survived an interstate bypass and today is home of over 40 small businesses located between the town hall and the public library.
Almost seven decades ago Paul Diller photographed this iconic Main Street scene. When this photo was taken Main Street was also U.S. 25, known as the Dixie Highway. (There existed no interstate highway bypassing town.)

Bluffton appears to be seeing the light of day following a 12-month-plus period of covid-related cancellations.
The following events received special permits by the Bluffton council on Monday, and ,please note that several specific details are being worked out on each of these:

VAN WERT - The visiting Bluffton boys tennis team lost 4-1 at Van Wert Monday evening. Luke Shadle posted the lone Pirate win at second singles. Bluffton dropped to 2-2 with the defeat, while VW improved to 2-2 after the win. Bluffton plays at Bryan April 17.
