Beavers on top of Mt St. Joe 16-6

First time since 1999 season that Bluffton is 3-0

The Bluffton University football team hosted Mount St. Joseph on a rainy Saturday afternoon at Alumni Field. After a slow start by both teams, the Beavers were able to get the upper hand as the Lions struggled to move the ball against Coach Rashawn West's defense.

Football: Pirates win big at Paulding

Jefferson and Bricker each score 3 TDs

The combination of big plays and defensive thievery led to a lopsided 42-14 Pirate victory at Paulding to open the Northwest Conference portion of the football schedule.  Kaleb Jefferson mauled the Panthers, rushing for 220 yards and scoring three lengthy touchdowns.

Leading group fitness classes - a passion of Sue Sheehan

She leads several group fitness classes for adults at BFR

Exercising with a group always increases your chances of sticking with a fitness program.

The benefits gained through the socialization often equal the fitness benefits, says Sue Sheehan, about the classes she instructs at Bluffton Family Recreation.

“I share knowledge as a physical therapist and incorporate that knowledge into each fitness class,” Sheehan says.
