What you need to know about Bluffton HS reopen plans

Parents of online learners may pick up a chrome book and required text books at BHS on Friday from 8-3 p.m.

This is the final part in a three-part series of Bluffton school reopen plans by building. For previous articles click for elementary information, and click for middle school information.

Laying it on thick

The asphalt layer of the Bentley Road North pathway took its turn on Wednesday morning. The pathway connect Riley Street to Richland Drive. Once completed the path will take pedestrians and bikers from the west end of Riley to either Maple Crest or the Bluffton Dari Freeze.

Bath stops BHS netters; Wapak up next

BATH - The Bluffton girls tennis team lost at Bath 4-1 on a steamy Tuesday night.

The defeat dropped the Lady Pirate record to 1-3. All five matches were decided in straight sets.

Senior Pearl Lewandowski posted the lone Pirate win at third singles over Bath sophomore Lexi White by a 6-2, 6-1 score.

Bluffton hosts Wapakoneta next on Wednesday, August 26 at 4:30 p.m.

F&M Picnic raffle winners announced

Earlier this month the Farmers and Merchants Picnic committee held a 50/50 raffle. Here are the winners: 

First place –  Smoker/grill with one-half hog, Carrie Dotson
Second place – Family Kalahari getaway, John Mahlmeister
Third place – Flat screen TV, Joe Ferguson
Fourth place – Fire pit with wood bundle, Eric Wetmore
Fifth place– Vera Bradley Bundle, Ryan Price
