Bluffton Family Recreation’s summer camp is underway.
The camp is designed for youth to join for a week at a time or longer. Registration is always due by the Friday before the next camp week session.
The next weekly session, Monday to Friday, June 17 to 21, has as its theme “Young Scientist.”
Campers will conduct their own science experiments. They will learn how to make slime, rock candy, perform egg experiments and conduct experiments with a chemist.
June 7 to 14 associates involved in Team Honda Week of Service

Associates from SRK Ohio have joined more than 25,000 volunteers across North America participating in Honda’s fourth annual Team Honda Week of Service, in which Honda associates, dealers and suppliers conduct volunteer service activities in their communities.
On June 7 and again on June 14 SRK Ohio associates volunteer throughout the Village of Bluffton for community clean up activities, sandbag preparation and mulching.
At SRK Ohio’s manufacturing facility two food drives are underway to support the Bluffton food pantry and Northwest Ohio Food Bank.

Seventy-five years later, they are still fishing for trout at the Buckeye. The Bluffton Sportsmen's Club anniversary event was Sunday. Here is Matthew Burkholder with a tagged trout. Jamie Nygaard shares these photos below.

Strawberry season is here.
"We are now picking strawberries for sale at our Red Barn Markets Monday through Friday starting at 10 a.m. We will also have Tennessee Tomatoes Honey, and Pectin available," Jerry Suter told the Icon today.
The 2019 Bluffton University Ultimate Frisbee reunion will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, at the Mussleman Library green.
This free event is a chance for alumni, current students and faculty members to participate in a family-friendly Ultimate Frisbee tournament either as a player or a spectator. Snacks and beverages will be provided during the event. Spectators should bring their own lawn chairs.
