A Medication Disposal Day will be held from in Ada from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, in the parking lot between Rite Aid and Northern on Main.

Those who want to dispose of expired or unused prescriptions as well as over-the-counter medications may give them to law enforcement officers at that time.

The meds will be disposed of in a safe, legal, and environmentally conscious way.
Here's a photo of last year's volunteers during which time 32 people disposed of unwanted meds.

Here's the schedule for Bluffton University's 116th commencement weekend

Bluffton University will celebrate its annual May Day weekend of festivities May 5-8.

The traditional end-of-the-academic-year celebration intertwines the past by hosting alumni reunions, the present by honoring this year's graduates and the future with first-year students performing the traditional Maypole dance. Classes ending in a 6 or 1, and the class of 2015, will celebrate reunions.

It's official!

Jonathan Fortman cuts the ribbon in front of Fortman Insurance on Bluffton's Main Street on Friday. The event says the transfer in ownership from one generation of Fortmans to the next is offical. Jonathan and his brother, Zachary, sons of John and Catherine Fortman, purchased the Ottawa and Bluffton businesses of Fortman Insurance Services this winter. Company founders, John and Catherine, continue to stay active in the business.
