John Fischbach appointed Team Leader of MHCO

He will also continue his role as director of finance

John Fischbach was recently appointed Team Leader of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio, according to Elizabeth Kelly, board chair. He will also continue in his current role as director of finance.

Fischbach joined the MHCO team as the director of finance on April 25, 2019.  

"With MHCO recently entering into a partnership with Brethren Retirement Community, a team leader was needed to coordinate and lead the MHCO leadership team," said Kelly.

US 68, SR 15 ramps at Lima Avenue closed

Temporary closures, lane restrictions affect traffic this week

The following are current or upcoming traffic impacts related to the reconstruction and widening of Interstate 75 in Hancock County through the city of Findlay. All work is weather dependent.

Paving on the Interstate 75 project will cause ramps at U.S. 68/state Route 15 and Lima Avenue to temporarily close in Findlay this week. Pavement repairs are expected to close River Road and Howard Street under the Blanchard River bridge.  In addition, Logan Avenue will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs. Traffic impacts are detailed below:

The top executive for the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation stopped in Pandora on Nov. 14 to tout the agency’s safety programs and recent $1.5 billion dividend for Ohio’s private and public employers.

Camp Friedenswald director to share during Bluffton University Alumni Forum today

2007 Bluffton graduate Jenna Liechty Martin will share “Why Living My Best Life Depends on You: Camp as a Place of Interconnection and Joy,” at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, in Yoder Recital Hall. 

Martin is the executive director of Camp Friedenswald in Cassopolis, Mich. During Forum, Martin will discuss how serving at Camp Friedenswald has created an experience for her to form genuine community and connection, which is vital to living her best life.
