Officers arrested a Pandora resident on an outstanding warrant out of the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers arrested a Fort Wayne, Indiana, resident for OVI following a traffic stop on Interstate 75 for a marked lanes violation. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.

BHS boys have won all five NWC boys soccer crowns, and is a perfect 25-0-0 in league play since 2015

HARROD - The Bluffton boys' soccer team went on the road and won their fifth consecutive Northwest Conference championship with a 2-0 shutout win at Allen East Thursday evening.

The Pirates improved their record to 12-2-2 overall and 5-0 in the NWC with the first-place showdown win. AE fell to 6-7-1 and 4-1 in the NWC with the defeat, good for second place in the six-team league.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a new diabetes medication.

This new approval is found under the names Rybelsus (brand name) and semaglutide (active ingredient). The FDA approved semaglutide to treat adults with type 2 diabetes in combination with diet and exercise.

Bluffton drops 5-4 decision against ‘Jackets

The Bluffton University men's soccer team welcomed HCAC foe Defiance College to the Sears Athletic Complex on a beautiful Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019. Despite a strong offensive presence, the Beavers dropped a 5-4 decision to the Yellow Jackets. Bluffton slipped to 5-7 (0-2 HCAC) on the season while Defiance improved to 7-5-1 (2-0 HCAC).

Bluffton women shutout Defiance

The Bluffton University women's soccer team traveled to HCAC rival Defiance College on Wednesday, Oct. 9, for a mid-week matchup against the Yellow Jackets. The Beavers secured a 2-0 shutout over rival Defiance. Bluffton improved to 4-7 (1-1 HCAC) on the season while Defiance dropped to 4-8-1 (0-2).

Less than five minutes into the match, junior Maddie Huffman (Maineville/Little Miami) netted her third goal of the season to give the Beavers an early 1-0 lead. A penalty kick by freshman Zoe Ryan (Pleasantville/Lancaster) secured the 2-0 Beaver shutout.
