There are plenty of hats in all sizes here. Unfortunately, they all look alike. This is the hat rack in the Bluffton High School band room. Soon these hats will be worn again after a summer off.

FROM ADA ICON - The Lugibihl family may not have an ice cream store in Bluffton, but that doesn't mean that folks in northwest Ohio can't get a taste of their homemade ice cream.

The Lugibihl ice cream store on wheels can be seen at many county fairs and festivals in the area during the summer.

Here, Dorothy prepares ice cream for those who attended the Farmers and Merchants Picnic in Ada last Saturday.

Men's Soccer excited for first season with Coach Kusak

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton University welcomes James Kusak as he takes over the reins on the men’s soccer program for the 2016 season. Kusak was hired in February, after working at Spalding University, Hendrix College and his alma mater, Centre College. He will put his team to the test against Adrian College when the Beavers travel to Michigan for their opener on Thursday, Sept. 1. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Koenig fires 43 for medalist honors against Wapak

Bluffton High's girls golf team defeated Wapakoneta 206-240 in a recent match. Alivia Koenig was the medalist at 43. Also scoring in the 40s was Kayleigh Coughlan with a 48.

United Way 50/50 winner donates winnings back to UW

Did you wonder who won the United Way of Bluffton, Beaverdam and Richland Township's summer 50/50 raffle?

The short version is Richard Bucher. The longer version is the United Way.

The winner of $302 is Richard Bucher of Bluffton. He has donated his winnings back to the United Way, according to Neil Reichenbach, treasurer.

Reichenbach said, "The United Way of Bluffton, Beaverdam, and Richland Township receives designations from The United Way of Greater Lima.

Peabody winner to share creative insights with Bluffton’s class of 2020

Julie Burstein, a Peabody Award-winning radio producer, best-selling author and TED speaker will be the featured speaker at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30, in the Sommer Center for Health and Fitness Education, as Bluffton welcomes the class of 2020 at its annual Opening Convocation.
