Bluffton University offering private education at state school price

High school seniors may be limiting their college choices because of the perceived cost of a private college education.

But Bluffton University is offering a high-quality, private education at a cost no higher than at top state universities in Ohio.

Introduction of the new Bluffton Tuition Equalization Program (TEP) means that, for qualified prospective students, tuition and fees will be equal to or, in many cases, less than what they would pay at a state school.

Funeral arrangements incomplete for Don Schweingruber

Donald Schweingruber, 75, of Bluffton died September 12, 2015 at Bluffton Hospital.  Arrangements are incomplete at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton.

Women's soccer drops 1-0 decision at Lourdes

SYLVANIA, Ohio - The Bluffton Beaver women’s soccer team fell victim to a late goal, dropping a 1-0 decision to Lourdes University on Saturday, Sept. 12. The loss knocked the Beavers back to the .500 mark at 2-2, while the Gray Wolves improved to 1-1-1 on the young season with the first women's soccer victory in school history.

Bluffton University Alumni Field dedicated Saturday

Bluffton University will unveil its Alumni Field, with newly installed artificial turf and upgraded track and field event areas, Saturday  at Salzman Stadium.

The field will be dedicated at about 1:15 p.m., prior to the 1:30 p.m. kickoff of Bluffton’s home-opening football game against Baldwin Wallace.
