More details of Harmon Field

In response to your old picture of Harmon Field (click here to see the picture, posted 12/16/19) , it occurred to me that I had done some research on other Harmon fields for my On The Road Ohio radio series that airs on 1330 WFIN, Findlay (8:32am, M-F) and 1430 WFOB, Fostoria (10:44am, M-F).

Overnight lane closures at SR 103 – I-75 midnight Wednesday

Interstate 75 state Route 103 may have overnight lane closures on Wednesday, Dec. 18, into Thursday, Dec. 19, for utility work, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. 

The work is expected at state Route 103 at midnight, possible closing one lane of Interstate 75 southbound.

Work is being performed by Asplundh Construction, Willow Grove, Penn.

That's no angel

Imagine if the Christmas tree traditional included beavers. Well, it does on one tree in the world. The Bluffton University tree in the Marbeck Center kiva includes a very eager beaver with angel wings. For the full effect, open the additional photos in the series. 

Village planning commission meeting Dec. 19

The following public meeting is posted for the Village of Bluffton. 

Planning Commission – Thursday,  Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. to discuss Parkview and State Route 103 zoning.

The meeting will be held at town hall, and is open to the public.

BFR's winter programming full of activities for youth to adults

Bluffton Family Recreation is ready to hang up the 2020 calendar, according to Daniel Tinch, BFR executive director.

BFR’s winter newsletter (click here to view the newsletter) lists all the programs available to youth and adults. It all starts with a goodbye to 2019 with a New Year’s Eve party from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Dec. 31.

The party, a family-friendly event, invites participants to wear party gear and come to BFR for crafts, games, music and dancing to finish with a noon countdown.
