Friendship and debate fuel 25 years of scholarly research for Bluffton’s Weaver and Mast
For a quarter century, Bluffton University professors J. Denny Weaver and Gerald Mast have been writing, researching and collaborating on projects exploring the Anabaptist peace church tradition.
As Mast recalls, the partnership was established when he came to campus for the interview process in the spring of 1995. During an informal reception after the interview, Weaver handed him an essay and requested feedback.
Tyler Carroll of Bluffton, recently participated in the University of Findlay's annual Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity. Carroll received the Outstanding Master of Arts in Education Student Award.
Undergraduate and graduate students were given the opportunity to virtually share their research, creativity, and professional learning experiences with the University and community, with many students receiving honors at the same time.
Purple petunias - makes sense to plant that color on the Bluffton University campus. Here is a garden in bloom on Snyder Circle in front of Centennial Hall.
