Carpe Diem

We've stretched the Latin phrase Carpe Diem to this carp that seized the day by successfully finding its way from the Buckeye overflow back to the big pond. The carp was in the very shallow waters in the Buckeye park, which experienced an overflow on Tuesday. By Wednesday as the waters receded, the carp realized its problem. It easily measured 18 inches and made quite a spash on its journey, as the photos in this series demonstrate.
