University to host several volleyball summer camps

Age groups from Kindergarten all the way to high school

The Bluffton University volleyball team will host several skills camps this summer.

A kindergarten through fifth grade camp will be held from 10 a.m.–noon on Wednesday, June 26. This camp will introduce basic volleyball skills while incorporating fun volleyball activities. Registration is $25 per camper.

Bluffton police, Hancock Sheriff, respond to suicide threat on SR 103

May 1
Officers arrested a Toledo resident for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop for an equipment violation in the 800 block of County Line Road. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.

May 2
Officers responded to Greding Street in reference to a mental person complaint.

Polar bears jumping

Youth attending the Friday library program on endangered species became polar bears. They attempted to jump from one chunk of ice to the next - the ice was floor squares. The Toledo Zoo education outreach presented the program.
