School board puts final touches on back-to-school action

Lots of back-to-school items are on Monday’s Bluffton school board agenda, according to Greg Denecker, superintendent.

The 2013-14 school year official starts Monday, Aug. 26. Then on Thursday, Aug. 29, kindergarten classes begin.

The board will act on the resignation of Ned Niswander, custodian, effective Aug. 31, and the classified contract of Shaun Kopp, custodian, effective Aug. 19.

Several supplemental, substitute teacher, long-term sub and home tutoring contracts will be acted upon.
