1996.

It's been quite a while since we've talked last. Update yourself, please. 
My wife, Heather, and I live in Bradley, Ill.. Bradley is approximately 50 miles south of Chicago. I have lived here for the last 16 years (since I graduated from college).

"Bluffton Hospital and rural hospital update" Friday chamber breakfast topic

“Bluffton Hospital and rural hospital update” is the theme of the Friday, Nov. 13, Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce chamber breakfast.

Chris Keller, chief administrative officer of Bluffton Hospital, is Friday’s presenter. The breakfast meeting takes place in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall. Bluffton Hospital is the breakfast sponsor and the meeting is open to the public.

Trudy Baber, one of the 90-plus year old members of the Bluffton Senior Citizens Assocation, enjoys a piece of cake. The Association celebrated its 45th anniversary last week with an open house.

Ault sets career marks for Pirate football program

Senior Mitchell Ault left his mark on the Bluffton football program.  The three-year starting quarterback ended his gridiron career as the high school’s record holder for yardage (5,645), touchdowns (60) and completions (380). The previous marks were held by Jarod Davies who totaled 3,574 yards on 281 completions with 35 touchdowns. 

Ault also garnered First Team All Northwest Conference accolades in voting of the league’s coaches.  In 2015, Ault completed 108 of 189 passes for 1,576 yards and 17 scores.

BLUFFTON, Ohio - BLUFFTON, Ohio - A pair of Bluffton University women  have been named All-Heartland Conference for their outstanding play in 2015. Freshman Ashley Keller (Piqua/Lehman Catholic) and sophomore Brittany Huff (Union/Northmont) were both recognized when the HCAC announced its top players this season as voted on by the head coaches.

4th grade developmental basketball leagues planned at BFR

Bluffton Family Recreation will offer 4th grade boys and girls developmental basketball leagues this winter, according to Joseph Beagle, director.

The leagues will play in separate boys and girls divisions on Saturdays from Jan. 9, 2016, to Feb. 13, 2016. Times are subject to change.

Registration is $250 per team. Registration takes place through Dec. 31. Persons wanting more details may contact BFR at 419-358-4150. All games will be played at BFR, 215 Snider Road, Bluffton.
