First United Methodist invites community to Pentecost Sunday celebration

The congregation of First United Methodist Church invites the community to celebrate the birth of the church on Pentecost Sunday, June 8, according to Rev. Kim Miller, pastor.

"The morning will start off with outdoor worship under the tent, including testimony, anointing, and immersion baptism," she said.

She adds: "The fun and fellowship continues with a picnic lunch (provided), 5-in-1 bouncy house, crafts, and more. Bring your friends and family. Some chairs will be provided. You may bring your own chairs and blankets if you wish. In case of rain, most activities will be held inside the church."
