Erica Sheehan December BHS student of the month

Erica Sheehan is the December Bluffton High School student of the month. She is the daughter of Mike and Sue Sheehan of Bluffton.

Erica is a senior at Bluffton High School and has a 4.000 GPA.

She is involved in Latin Club, Art Club, Math Club, Drama Club, National Honor Society, SADD (Student's Against Destructive Decisions); Domestication Club, NLSH, and also tutors. She attends Ebenezer Mennonite Church and is involved in the youth group. She also finds time to volunteer at St. Rita's.

She is a member of the BHS cross country team and qualified to run in the regional meet this year. At the cross country banquet she was awarded the Pirate Award, which is voted on by her peers. She is a member of the BHS track team and was a regional qualifier last spring. She is a a scholar athlete. Last year, she was awarded the student of the year in CP English 11 and is an Academic Letter winner.

In her spare time she enjoys running, playing piano, traveling, yoga, volunteering with the first grade students, and hanging out with her friends.

She attends Bluffton University for post-secondary classes and takes Calculus 1, Intro to Exercise Science, Sociology, and Recreational Arts & Crafts.

After graduation she plans to attend Loyola University in Chicago and major in Biology/Pre-Med.
