Senior Citizens Association featured at Feb. 13 chamber breakfast; real estate workshop follows

The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce highlights the Bluffton Senior Citizens Association at its Friday, Feb. 13, breakfast meeting. The meeting is in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall, 154 N. Main St.

Tonya Meyer, director of the association, is the morning speaker. The association celebrates its 45th anniversary in November.

A free breakfast will be served from 7 to 7:30 a.m. The Dough Hook of Bluffton will provide the breakfast. The breakfast meeting is from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

In addition, a chamber workshop that focuses on listing a property with a realtor, follows at 8:45 a.m.

RealLiving, CCR Realtors, 142 E. Jefferson St., is the breakfast sponsor and workshop presenter.

Several additional items are on the program agenda:
•  The chamber will show a Blaze of Lights video created by Maggie Fett, Bluffton High School senior.
• Two new members will be recognized:
   * Ideal Images, Bluffton, Rachel Webster
   * Giesken Outdoor Advertising, Ottawa, Tom Giesken
• Members will hear an update on this summer’s Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure (GOBA) that will bring over 2,500 bicycle riders overnight to Bluffton in June.

Real Estate Workshop

RealLiving CCR Realtors will host a free and open to the public workshop from 8:45 to 9:15 a.m. The workshop will cover:
1 – How to price your house when you are listing it with a realtor
2 – How much commission do you pay your realtor
3 – Things to look for when buying a property
4 – Different websites to follow if listing or buying commercial or residential properties
5 – How to prepare your house to place it on the market.
