Marvin Reigle was a Beaverdam High School graduate

Marvin L. Reigle, 85, died Jan. 25, 2017, at Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton.  Marvin was born May 10, 1931, in Beaverdam, Ohio, to the late Marvin and Edna (Hermon) Reigle. On Feb. 4, 1955, he married Marilyn Auchmuty Reigle who survives.

Marvin was a carpenter and had worked for Steiner & Reichenbach Lumber in Bluffton. He was an active member of Ebenezer Mennonite Church, Bluffton.  Marvin was an avid wood worker, enjoyed camping, fishing, attending tractor shows and spending time with his family. He was a graduate of Beaverdam High School.

Survivors also include a son, Steve (Doneta) Reigle of Pandora; a daughter, Vickie (Jerry) Cartwright of Columbus Grove; two granddaughters, Brittany and Amanda Reigle; a brother, Jack (Joyce) Reigle of Lima; a step-brother, Fred (Pat) Arnold of Cairo; and a sister-in-law, Leannah Reigle of Beaverdam. 

Marvin was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Reigle and a sister, Odessa Faye Reigle.

Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 28, at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Mennonite Church in Bluffton. Pastors Jim King, Dick Potter and Kathy Brauen officiating. 

Burial will be in Ebenezer Mennonite Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be Friday from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ebenezer Mennonite Church Mission Fund or Transport for Christ.
