Kevin Kidd named Mennonite Home and Willow Ridge administrator

Brings 39 years of exerience to Bluffton senior communities

Kevin Kidd of Lima has accepted the position of administrator for Mennonite Memorial Home and Willow Ridge, both part of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio (MHCO), Bluffton, according to Laura Voth, CEO.

“I am certain Kevin’s 39 years of experience will bring us new systems and perspectives for how best to serve our elders and their families, for bringing more community members into our program, for good stewardship of our finances, and for caring for our most important asset – our thoughtful staff,” she said.

Adding, “His heart for compassionate service, high quality care, and assuring respect and choice for the elders we serve will fit nicely with our philosophy. We are delighted to have Kevin join the MHCO family.”

Prior to coming to MHCO, Kidd served in a variety of roles in long-term care ranging from executive director to owner/operator.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s College and an MBA in health care management from The University of Phoenix.

Kid said, “I find everyone so helpful, gracious and friendly. Coming into this, I knew I would find that. I appreciate being associated with MHCO. It has such a rich tradition of providing care and services to its elders.”

He is a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, Lima, where he is a lector and serves on the parish council. He is also a board member of the Lima Area Serra Club and Lima Knights of Columbus.
