Several ODOT projects affect local traffic patterns

Interstate 75 and state routes around Bluffton and Beaverdam

Several projects by the Ohio Department of Transportation will affect traffic patterns next week in the Bluffton area. Those follow:

• State Route 103 near the village of Jenera, between county Road 698 and township Road 59, will close June 25 for five days for replacement of three culverts. Traffic detoured onto state Route 235, U.S. 30 and U.S. 68 back to state Route 103. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hancock County maintenance garage.

• State Route 103 between county Road 9 and township Road 65, between the villages of Jenera and Arlington, closed May 23 for approximately 30 days for a culvert replacement. Traffic is detoured onto U.S. 68, U.S. 30 and state Route 235 back to state Route 103. Work is being performed by Miller Contracting Group, Ottoville.

The following Interstate 75 ramps will be affected by pavement repair:

• Interstate 75 northbound exit ramp to state Route 696, Beaverdam, will remain open but will be restricted during pavement repair beginning the week of June 18. Work is expected to be completed within a week. Work is being performed by Shelly & Sands, Zanesville.

• Interstate 75 southbound entrance ramp from state Route 696, Beaverdam, will close Friday, June 22 at 9 p.m. until Monday, June 25 at 6 a.m. Traffic detoured onto Interstate 75 northbound to Bentley Road back to Interstate 75 southbound. Work is being performed by Shelly & Sands, Zanesville.

• Interstate 75 southbound entrance ramp at Bluelick Road, Lima, will close June 25 for approximately seven days for a joint repair project. Traffic will be detoured onto Interstate 75 northbound to Napoleon Road back to Interstate 75 southbound. Work is being performed by Complete General Construction, Columbus.

• Interstate 75 northbound between state Route 81 and Napoleon Road will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

• State Route 696, between U.S. 30 and the village of Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone during pavement resurfacing which will begin late in the week of June 18. Work is being performed by Shelly & Sands, Zanesville.
