Bluffton council set several committee meetings for October. The schedule follows. All meetings are in the town hall.
• Monday, Oct. 15, Utilities committee, manhole bid reviews, 1 p.m.
• Monday, Oct. 15, Parks and recreation, 2019 Johnny Appleseed grant program, 7:30 p.m.
• Monday, Oct. 15, Ordinance committee, 8:30 p.m.
• Thursday, Oct. 18, Finance committee, 2019 police department budget, noon
• Monday, Oct. 22 – Council as a whole, village website discussion, 6:30 p.m.
Trick-or-treat Oct. 25
Bluffton's trick-or-treat night is from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25.
Leaf pick up starts Oct. 29
Depending upon the weather, the village plans to start leaf pick up the week of Monday, Oct. 29. Watch the Icon for updates.
