Interested in Creative Nonfiction including memoirs, biographies, and family histories?

Join us for a free Writing Workshop with longtime Bluffton University Professor of Writing and English, Dr. Jeff Gundy. This is the library's second workshop with Professor Gundy, and we are honored to have him here again. This workshop will focus on Professor Gundy's work with his family history (in his book, A Community of Memory: My Days with George and Clara) as well as his memoir in progress, Wind Farm. Following his presentation, there will be time for questions, writing prompts, and free writing. Feel free to bring a notebook and pen or your laptop -- outlets are available, though limited.

This workshop is completely free, but requires registration to ensure enough room in the library's lower level meeting room. Please call us at 419-358-5016 or visit the library during open hours to register.

For those not familiar with Professor Gundy, he was the 2016 Ohio Poet of the Year and is a longtime Professor of English and Creative Writing. Gundy has had numerous poems and essays published in anthologies, magazines, and journals, and nearly a dozen collections of poetry, prose, and Creative Nonfiction pieces published in book format.
