Trinity United Methodist holds fifth annual winter coat giveawy

Bluffton Trinity United Methodist Church, 2202 SR 103, will hold its fifth annual winter coat and apparel giveaway this fall.

Any business or organization wanting to participate is invited to do so. 

Ria Reed said, "If you are interested in collecting any coats, gloves and scarves for all ages and genders, please let us know and we will supply and maintain the collection box at the desired location.

Panache has tickets for Findlay Service League holiday home tour

The Findlay Service League (FSL) holds its semiannual Holiday Homes Tour on Saturday, Nov. 9 from noon-8 p.m. Held in the Pheasant Run neighborhood this year, the tour will feature four homes, each meticulously decorated for the holiday season by local designers.

Attendees will have the opportunity to walk through each home, catch a glimpse of their  handcrafted architectural features, and enjoy the sparkle of the custom decorations that adorn them.

James Reese held degrees as Ohio Farmer and American Farmer

James E. Reese, 85, of Pandora died at 3:55 p.m., Oct. 6, 2013 at the Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. He was born Nov. 24, 1927 in Toledo to Charles and Evelyn Wineman Reese. On Aug. 6, 1955 he married Phyllis Luginbill and she survives.

2013 BHS homecoming: It was a dark and stormy night to remember

Yes, it was a dark and stormy night. But it was a fun evening.

Bluffton High School celebrated its 2013 homecoming on Friday. Rain squashed the homecoming parade, but the festivities continued on Harmon Field  in a  pre-game ceremony.
