FINDLAY - The visiting Bluffton softball team split a non-league twinbill at Liberty-Benton Saturday.
The Lady Pirates ran their record to 2-6 with the split.
In game one, the Pirate girls scored two runs in the top of the seventh to rally for a 4-2 victory.
L-B led 2-0 after four innings. Bluffton tallied single runs in the fifth and sixth frames to tie it up, 2-2.
They then plated two more in their last at bat and held the Eagles scoreless in the home seventh to preserve the comeback win.
Riley Busch smacked a triple, single and drove in a run. Dyllan Worcester doubled and hit a single. Lauren Swartzlander drilled an RBI double.
Sophie Bricker and Jasmine Whitlow each added a hit.
Pirate pitcher Grace Myers earned her second straight win with a three-hit, complete game effort. Myers also collected an RBI single.
The victors out-hit L-B in the opener, 8-3.

In the nightcap, L-B jumped out to an early lead and held on for a 5-2 win.
L-B tallied two runs in the bottom of the first inning and added three more scores in the second to build a 5-0 cushion.
Bricker socked three singles to pace Bluffton. Busch knocked in a run with two hits, while Whitlow added a aingle.
The Pirates were out-hit 7-6 in the second game.
