Bluffton PTO bakery Bingo a "huge success"

The Bluffton Elementary PTO bakery Bingo event was a great success, according to Melissa Knauss, PTO president. The group estimates that this year's profit may be over $3,000, up from over $2,300 last year.

"We ended up with 22 classroom baskets, and 31 business baskets for a total of 53," she said. "Everyone had fun playing Bingo."

"We had eight tables filled with donated baked goods, which then individuals who won Bingo, could pick their choice of a baked good.

"The winner of our 50/50 drawing was Natalie Mueller, taking home $215," she added.

American Heritage Girls Troop organizing in Bluffton

The American Heritage Girls program is coming to Bluffton.

AHG is a nonprofit, faith-based organization dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country. It is open to girls in Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Tanya Augsburger (Troop Coordinator) and Randa Kinn (Vice Coordinator) have been working through the process of getting an AHG troop going here. Every AHG Troop has a Chartering Organization, and Bluffton Baptist Church has agreed to fill that role for Bluffton’s AHG Troop OH2505.
