"Alvin & the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked" shown at Shannon Dec. 28 - Jan. 5

Peter Suter of Shannon Theatre announced that "Alvin & the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked" (G) is showing at the theatre from December 28 - January 5.

Show times follow:

Each evening at 7:00 and 9:30 PM with daily matinees at 1:30 and 4:00 PM through Sunday, January 1st.

Bridge Hospice offering Forever Memories Scrapbook Group

Bridge Hospice is forming a support group focused on loss, grief and healing through the creation of scrapbooks. The Forever Memories Scrapbook Group will meet Wednesday, Jan. 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Birchaven Village Chapel, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay.

Attendees will join others who have experienced the death of a loved one in creating scrapbooks that will honor the loved one's life and the relationship that was shared. The group is open to any adult, child or family who has experienced a loss.

Peter Suter of Shannon Theatre announced that "Alvin & the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked" (G) is showing at the theatre from December 21 - 29.

Show times follow:

Each evening at 7:00 and 9:30 PM with Thursday and Friday (December 22 and 23) matinees at 1:30 and 4 PM. The theatre will be closed on December 24 and 25. Matinees will be shown daily Monday, December 26 - Sunday, January 1 at 1:30 and 4 PM.

Now through December 23, get 11 passes for only $20!

Krysti's Music Studio Christmas recitals scheduled

Krysti's Music Studio will be having four Christmas Recitals this year, each featuring different performers. Students will be performing on piano, voice, and guitar. The recitals are free and open to the public.

The first recital is Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 7pm at Maple Crest's patio room at 700 Maple Crest Ct, Bluffton. The second recital is Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 7pm at Mennonite Memorial Home's Chapel at 410 W. Elm St. Bluffton.

"Jack & Jill" and "Tower Heist" shown at Shannon Dec. 9 - 15

Peter Suter of Shannon Theatre announced that "Jack & Jill" (PG) and "Tower Heist" (PG-13) is showing at the theatre from December 9 - 15.

Show times follow:

Jack & Jill - Each evening at 7:00 PM with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 1:30 and 4 PM.

Tower Heist - Each evening at 9:30 PM.
