Legion visits Richland Manor veterans

Members of the Bluffton American Legion Post 382 were busy on Nov. 11. Here are members visiting veterans at Richland Manor. Legion members also visited vets at Maple Crest, Mennonite Home and conducted a discarded flag burning ceremony at Bluffton High School.

Don Luginbuhl wins Icon's Week 11 college football contest

The winner of The Icon's Week 11 College Football Contest is Don Luginbuhl. Don and three other contestants accumulated 9 points this week. Don was declared the winner through the tie-breaker process.

Other contestants:
9 points - Dan Smith, Jim Dillman and Mike Burris.
8 points - Duane Bollenbacher.
7 points - Jared Lehman, Jerry Cupples, Lyle Arnold and Randy Stewart.
6 points - Andy Althuahs, Andy Borgelt, Bill Edwards, James Crawfis and John Clevidence.
5 points - Ben Reineke, Mark Sommers and Nancy Armour.

Bluffton Legion honors residents of MHCO who are veterans

Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio will will honor veterans who are residents at both Bluffton campuses with a ceremony at 1:30 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 11.

The ceremony is presented by the Bluffton American Legion Post #382. The Mennonite Memorial Home ceremony will be held in the chapel and Maple Crest ceremony in the Patio Room.
