Here is the information the Icon has as of Tuesday morning, Feb. 16, concerning closings and delays. This story will be continually updated.

• Bluffton schools will utilize remote learning after five calamity days, which are now all used.

•Rumpke refuse and recycle routes will be operate on a one-day service delay. All trash and recycling routes will be pushed back one day in service.

How many inches did you get? After three or so, who's counting? Bluffton dug out of the "snowstorm of the winter" this morning. Most activites in the village and northwestern Ohio are on hold at the moment. Here's the scene along Jackson Street as snow is removed from the sidewalk at Bluffton Hgih School.

Blanchard Valley Health System announces inclement weather plan

This affects several Bluffton Hospital-related offices

Due to inclement weather, Blanchard Valley Health System will be closing or limiting hours for specific locations.

If a Level 3 snow emergency is announced in the counties where BVHS services are present, then the following services will be cancelled including outpatient services (outpatient laboratory, outpatient radiology, endoscopy, outpatient rehabilitation and cardiology) and all elective surgeries. These offices will contact patients to reschedule.

BVHS vaccination clinic postponed due to impending winter weather

Blanchard Valley Health System has announced the postponing of the COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, due to impending winter weather. The clinic will be rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 25. Patients should arrive on Feb. 25 at their already scheduled appointment time.

“We want our associates and community residents to be safe during this inclement weather,” stated Roxanne Williams, director of quality, associate & patient safety.

With the possibility of several inches of snow to fall over the next 24 hours, expect a snow emergency to be issued by the Village of Bluffton tonight or overnight, according to the Bluffton police department.

“Please pass the following information on and help your neighbors understand this,” Ryan Burkholder, police chief said.

• Special rules are in place for parking vehicles on roadways and in municipal parking lots.
