Community at prayer with focus on MHCO

Friday morning drive in service held at The Centre

On Friday morning, the community is invited to a prayer and meditation event focusing on friends and family at the Mennonite Memorial Home and for the Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio employees and volunteers.

Open to the public, it takes place at 11 a.m., Friday, May 1, in the parking lot of The Centre, 601 N. Main St., Bluffton. 

The Bluffton Area Ministerial Association and its ministerial partners will conduct the service.

Because of COVID-19 Jefferson Street phase 2 won't take place in 2020

And, this year's street program slashed in half

Two 2020 Bluffton village projects became victims of COVID-19 on Monday.

Bluffton council placed its Jefferson Street Phase 2 project, scheduled for 2020, on hold, and the council slashed its 2020 street program nearly in half. The action is due to anticipate lower village and state revenues this year.

School work picnic

Bluffton elementary students Ellia and Levi Zink decided to do some of their school work outside on a nice day earlier this week. State of Our Organization: COVID-19 Response and Plan Part III

Blanchard Valley Health System - on Facebook Live 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30

Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) will hold a “State of Our Organization: COVID-19 Response and Plan Part III” through Facebook Live to discuss the COVID-19 pandemic, the response plan for BVHS and answer questions from the community.

President and CEO Scott Malaney and Dr. William Kose, vice president of special projects, will speak to the community for a third time on the pandemic and updates on the health system’s response from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30.
