An array of nativities and angels will be on display in December at the Mt. Cory United Methodist Church, hosted by the church Friendship Circle.

The displays are open to the public on the following schedule:

Saturday, Dec. 1 and Dec. 8: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 2 and Dec. 9, 1 to 5 p.m.
Monday, Dec. 24, following Christmas eve service, approximately 8 p.m.

 The Bluffton University men's basketball team knocked off Hiram College 76-62 in the home opener with four Beavers notching double digits on Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Although Bluffton trailed 41-33 at the half, the Beavers used a convincing 43-21 edge in the final period to knock off the Terriers for their second win (2-1) of the season.

Here are December arts and events at Bluffton University. Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.

Dec. 2 Concert: Holiday Collage Concert, 2:30 p.m., Yoder Recital Hall. A tree-lighting ceremony at the Houshower House will directly follow the concert.

Dec. 4 Forum: “Christmas Festival,” Forum by Bluffton University music department, 11 a.m. Yoder Recital Hall.

Charles H. Vogel, 55, died at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, at the Meadows of Delphos in Delphos.
