Ruth Kibele

Ruth E. Kibele, 91, of Bluffton, died at 10:15 a.m., April 23, 2010, at Otterbein Nursing Home, Cridersville.

She was born April 2, 1919, to John and Clara Gratz Geiser in Grand Marsh, Wisc,. On June 20, 1938, she married Kermit Kibele and he died Jan. 20, 1969.

Mrs. Kibele owned and operated Kibbee's Carry-Out and had worked at Triplett Corp. She was a graduate of Bluffton High School and attended Bluffton College. She was a member of First Mennonite Church, Bluffton.

Jarrod Richard Leon, 33, of Bluffton, died April 23, 2010, in a car accident near Cairo.

H2 was born April 28, 1976, in Great Bend, Kan., and was a graduate of Poland (Ohio) High School.

Margaret Augsburger

Margaret Elnora Augsburger, 91, Mennonite Memorial Home resident, died at 4:05 p.m., Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Home.

She was born Feb. 8, 1919, in Columbus Grove, Ohio, to Alfred and Marjorie (Jones) Mayberry. On Aug. 22, 1940, she married Wade Augsburger and he died on Jan. 5, 2008.

Mrs. Augsburger was a homemaker, retiring from Hawkey's Pharmacy, Columbus Grove. She had attended Lima Baptist Temple.

We spot this plate near Bluffton High School during school days. If we aren't mistaken it belongs to Pam Riffle a Buckeye fan.

Jesse Henry

Bluffton native Jesse Henry and the Royal Tycoons, a blues band from Colombus will perform in the back room of Tu Pueblo, Saturday, April 24.

The show opens with an act by Bluffton University grad Matt Keeler at 8 p.m. Admission is $5.

By the time Henry graduated from Bluffton High School he already had a loyal following for his music career, and he hasn't slowed down since then.

Last weekend's "Trash Into Cash" sale, sponsored by Beyond Budgeting, was more than your typical garage sale. It was a chance for the community to shop for bargains while supporting the work of the Bluffton Community Assistance Program.

In all, over $80 was raised for the program and a large box of non-perishable food was donated at the sale.

SKC 1 is on a vehicle driven by Sharon K. Carpenter.

The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its 39th annual Bluffton arts and crafts show Saturday, May 22, downtown Bluffton. This year's event includes over 50 craft booths. The show hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition, the show will have free entertainment (BHS jazz band and BHS show choir), food vendors, a llama exhibit, a student art show, pony rides, farmer's market, and ethnic foods.
