Bridge Home Health & Hospice is offering its 24th annual Living Through Loss educational series. The eight-month series will focus on the issues surrounding the death of a loved one. Kenneth R. Steiner, 95 of Bluffton died at 8:30 a.m. September 28, 2012, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. He was born Oct. 28, 1916 in Pandora to Clarence and Cora (Rupp) Steiner. On October 27, 1940 he married Lenora G. Schroll and she died September 10, 1999.

The event enables businesses to introduce themselves to university students. The annual fall event is very popular among students and businesses.

The promotion is by Bluffton merchants and Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce. It centers on a concept titled “3/50 Project.” The nationwide project carries the tagline: “Save your local economy three stores at a time.”
The promotion encourages persons to pick three locally independent businesses, and spend $50 each month between the three.
