Two community meals are planned for December at the Bluffton Senior Ciitzen's Center. The meals are Thursday, Dec. 6 and Thursday, Dec. 20 and each takes place at 6 p.m.
Meals are free and open to the public. All donations go to support the Bluffton Food Pantry.
The host church for Dec. 6 is St. Mary's Catholic Church. The host church for Dec. 20 is Trinty Methodist Church.
Richland Manor has teamed up with the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center this month. A Home for the Holidays Christmas raffle will take place on Friday, Dec. 14, with proceeds to benefit the Bluffton Senior Citizen's Center.

3rd Prize - $50 pre-paid Visa card
Tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and can be purchased at Richland Manor, from any Richland Manor employee or at the Bluffton Senior Center.
The Bluffton Icon welcomes letters to Santa Claus. The letters may be emailed to [email protected] or delivered to a special Santa mailbox in the Bluffton Post Office.
If parents wish to have their children's names signed on the Icon, please print them legibly on the letter.

Dear Santa,
This is my Christmas list. I've tried really hard to be a good girl. We will leave you cookies and milk. Do you want chocolate or white milk? This is the stuff I want for Chrismas:
Krystie's Music Studio has announced that it is now offering cello, flute, saxophone, clarinet, oboe, and bassoon lessons. This is in additon to lessons available for piano, voice, guitar, violin, theory and composition lessons.
Any new students wishing to take lessons can call anytime from now until the end of December and can start lessons the week of Jan. 7.

Hugh Eugene Chamberlain, 86, of Findlay died at 5:45 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at The Heritage, Findlay, Ohio.
Hugh was born on April 25,1926, to the late David Eugene and Willa Rose (Holmes) Chamberlain inBluffton. Hugh married Mary Kathryn Yates on May 5, 1949, and she
survives.
Hugh is survived by daughter, Claudia Ann (Edwin H. Morgan) Chamberlain of
Findlay; sister, Sue Ellen (Blaine Bauman) Hardwick of Bluffton; and a
granddaughter, Molly Morgenstern LaLonde.
