Tommy Tire, 319 N. Main St., Bluffton will give customers $50 off the purchase of any set of four passenger or light truck tires now through March 17, according to Tom Dotson.
Dr. Susan Schultz Huxman will serve double duty this May as Bluffton University’s 2017 Commencement speaker and mother to a graduating Bluffton student.
President James Harder announced during a recent faculty meeting that Dr. Huxman, president of Eastern Mennonite University, will address the graduating class during the May 7 ceremony in the Sommer Center.
Huxman’s daughter, Emily Huxman ’17, is a communication and marketing double major.
Vance Street Apartments changed ownership on Jan. 1.
Bluffton Community Housing Corp., the overseeing body of both Vance Street and Riley View Apartment, turned over its ownership of Vance Street to the National Affordable Housing Foundation, according to Deb Beer, secretary of the housing corp.

Bluffton Baptist Church will have special guests Tim and Patty Taylor and their daughters present a worship service of music at 10:45 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 26.
The Taylor family with their daughters have served their music ministry for over 20 years. The family is from Monroe, Mich.

Senior artists and graphic designers will showcase their most prominent work from their four years at Bluffton in their exhibit titled “Viewer Discretion Advised.”

Bluffton High School boys' basketball team split its weekend games, losing to Columbus Grove and defeating Kenton.
On Friday, Grove defeated Bluffton 42-39, Grove was led by Caiden Grothaus with 15, the Bulldogs move to 6-13 (NWC 2-5). The Pirates were led by Gabe Denecker with 14, and move to 10-10 (NWC 4-3).
On Saturday, Bluffton defeated Kenton 54-47 in overtime. The Pirates move to 11-10, while the Wildcats move to 12-9 on the season. Gabe Denecker led all scorers tonight with 19, followed by Luke Denecker with 17. Jaron Sharpe led Kenton with 11.
