Village park and rec committee put that question to elementary students - answers are fascinating

Ask a kid for an opinion and you’ll get it.

Expect some great ideas when you ask.

The village parks and recreation committee (Ben Stahl council member; Mitch Kingsley council member; Mayor Richard Johnson and Jesse Blackburn, village administrator), sent a questionnaire to Bluffton elementary students.

Committee members wanted to know elementary youths thoughts on what would be good features for the Buckeye park.

A summary of the survey is at the bottom of this story.

Dear Business and Community Partners,

The Bluffton and Pandora Police Departments are once again in the planning stages for holding our 6th annual National Night Out celebration. This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, August 6 and will again take place at the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool from 6 p.m.-9 p.m., where free pool admission will be offered all day.

I am currently working with stray and feral cats in Bluffton - trying to find homes, spay and neuter, etc.

I have had to create a FB page to try to reach people as we have so many and there seems to be little interest.

Please look at From Feral to Fabulous page. (There may be more than one page named that, but I’m referring to Bluffton.)
