Safe driving program for mature drivers, March 31

This opportunity to network and meet with new faces and fresh perspectives is planned for the first Thursday of every month.

MEDIA RELEASE__Easter Sunday, April 5, will be celebrated at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, at two services. 

The Easter Dawn service begins at 6:30 AM. Vicar Kelvin Johannes from Immanuel Lutheran Church, Findlay, will be preaching on 1 Corinthians 15:1-11, entitled "First Importance." The Choir anthem is Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus." The hymns are: "Jesus Christ Is Risen Today; Awake, My Heart, With Gladness; Christ Jesus Lay in Death's Strong Bands; Christ the Lord Is Risen Today; and He's Risen, He's Risen "

Spring musical is Dare to Dream Jr. 

MEDIA RELEASE__Bluffton High School students will take audiences on a musical journey through beloved Disney songs and stories when they present Disney’s Dare to Dream Jr. this April in the Bluffton Middle School Cafetorium.

Performances will take place Friday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, April 12 at 2:00 p.m.

MEDIA RELEASE__On March 28, 2026, at approximately 10:17 A.M., the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a report of a commercial semi-truck striking a car on US 30 at the Hancock County Line in Richland Township, Allen County. 

Lawrence Morris Sr, age 62, from Toledo, Ohio, was southbound on CR 15 driving a 2015 Lincoln MKS. Andrew Skiles, age 54, from Rochester, Indiana, was westbound on US 30 driving a 2018 Kenworth Semi. Mr. Morris failed to yield at a posted stop sign and was struck in the side by the semi. 

MEDIA RELEASE__A Good Friday service on April 3 will begin at 7:00 PM at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera. 

Trinity's Staff Minister Jeffrey Falck will lead the service titled "Good Friday Remembrance of the Cross." Zechariah 3:1-10 will be the Bible reading with the theme, " Gone in a Single Day."  Hymns are: " Lamb of God, Pure and Holy, A Lamb Goes Uncomplaining Forth, God Was There on Calvary, and Sing, My Tongue, the Glorious Battle." The Choir anthem is "Come to the Cross"

MEDIA RELEASE__A special service will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, on Holy Thursday, April 2. The service begins at 7:00 p.m.

Pastor Nicholas Lilienthal of Abiding Word Lutheran Church in Bowling Green will give the sermon on John 13:1-17, 31-35, with the theme " Behold the Man: A God who Loves." Hymns are: "When You Woke that Thursday Morning, It was a Dark and Dismal Night, Jesus Christ, Our Blessed Savior, The Death of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and O Sacred Head, Now Wounded." The Choir anthem is "Remember."

NWS DAMAGE SURVEY__Brief EF1 tornado occurred just south of Kenton in Hardin County at the Kenton County Fairgrounds.

The fairgrounds have issued a letter regarding the extent of damage HERE.
