MEDIA RELEASE__An Easter for Kids event (a special one day Easter VBS) will be held at Trinity Lutheran School 105 Allen Street, Jenera, on Saturday, March 28, from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 noon.

The program is open to children ages 3 years-5th grade.

The event features Bible-based activity stations where kids hear the good news of Easter and what Jesus' resurrection means for them. They can praise Him in song, make crafts, play games and enjoy snacks. 

MEDIA RELEASE__Safe Driving Tips for Mature Drivers (R) will be held at Bluffton Public Library on Tuesday, March 31 at 5:30 p.m.

Megan Kinnear of Lima-Allen County Safe Community Coalition will present and discuss: crash statistics, ideas on how to stay agile in order drive longer, warning signs that a person might have a higher risk of endangering themselves when they drive, how to know if cutting back on driving is the right choice, and tips on how to approach a safe driving discussion with loved ones.

We’ll be in the Elementary Gym with plenty of fun, healthy activities to get your heart pumping and your brain growing.

We are proud to partner with Blanchard Valley Health System to bring this event to our community and help keep our kids healthy and thriving!

MEDIA RELEASE__The Poinsettia Club of Bluffton will begin its 106th year on April 21. Organized in 1920, the club's motto is “Give to the world the best you have and the best will come back to you.” The poinsettia is the flower of Mexico and represents friendship or friend.

The club meets at 11:30 a.m.on the third Tuesday of the month from April through November. The group meets in various locations. The April 2026 meeting will be held at Maple Crest in Bluffton.

MEDIA RELEASE__The Lima Area Youth Orchestra will present their annual Spring Finale Concert to the public on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 4:00 PM in the Joe Henderson Auditorium at Lima Senior High School.  Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors.  This concert will feature music associated with all things Disney.  From the classical side of Fantasia and Sleeping Beauty to the more modern sounds of Hamilton, Lilo & Stitch, and Moana, this concert will have something for everyone.

MEDIA RELEASE__Wonder when and how you can get your child involved in 4-H? While many youth programs are aligned with the school year, the 4-H program takes a break during the fall and runs from March to September. The current enrollment deadline is April 15.

MEDIA RELEASE__The Pandora United Methodist Choir will be presenting their Easter Cantata, "Behold the Lamb" written by Lloyd Larson at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 29 during the worship service.

The church service and refreshments in the fellowship hall afterwards are open to the public.

The choir is directed by Pat Basinger and accompanied by Kira Davis.

The church is located on State Route 12 at 108 E Washington Street in Pandora.
