MEDIA RELEASE__The Putnam County Democrats will host our first annual county dinner on Thursday, March 19 at the Putnam County Event Center at the fairgrounds in Ottawa.
The event will feature candidates running for state office. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will start at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $50 per ticket. Sign up online HERE.

While traditional open surgery has long been the standard approach, advances in technology have introduced less invasive methods, with robotic-assisted surgery emerging as a preferred option for many patients and providers.
MEDIA RELEASE__Bluffton University Athletics has welcomed two standout alumni into its Athletics Hall of Fame, recognizing Lori Schwieterman ’83 and Jeremy Best ’96 for their accomplishments as student-athletes, coaches and mentors who have made lasting impacts on their communities and their sports.
BLUFFTON__The upset-minded Bluffton High School girls basketball team led at halftime, but fell victim to a big second-half comeback by visiting Northwest Conference leader Columbus Grove and lost 43-34 to on Thursday, February 5.
The Pirates led 18-13 at halftime. But the Bulldogs came back to outscore Bluffton 30-16 after intermission to pull off the nine-point victory on the road. CG limited the Pirates to just five field goals in the second half.
