FROM BLUFFTON POLICE ON FACEBOOK__Thank you to everyone that followed the snow emergency procedures this week that allowed the Village Public Works Department to clear streets from the snowfall this past weekend. As of [Wednesday, January 28], all parking is able to return to normal throughout the village.
We also ask that if you have a fire hydrant on your property, please make sure the snow is cleared from around it so the fire department is able to locate and access it in the case of an emergency.
On January 28, Village of Bluffton Department of Public Works crews continued to load and move snow out of downtown Bluffton. The beep of backing up trucks and mini loaders punctuated the squeak of boots and tires on snow too cold to melt. A cold weather advisory is in effect from midnight to 9 a.m. on Thursday, January 29.
Five free public events at the ONU Observatory will be hosted during the Spring 2026 semester. Dr. Jason Pinkney posts information about the events at https://jpastro.net/astro/publicevents.html
