The area's favorite red barns are back. Bluffton's Suter's Produce barn is now open on State Route 103.

Swimmers from around the area aged 4-18 kicked off the 39th annual Elks Invitational Swim Meet and Western Ohio Aquatics League (WOAL) Championship yesterday in Kenton.

Events started at 9 a.m. on Friday and concluded around 2 p.m. Day two of champs will begin today at 9 a.m. and will conclude around 3 p.m. at the Kenton Municipal Swimming pool.

As our nation celebrates its independence, so we are celebrating an opening of live events within the United States! Unfortunately this week, the country showed an increase in COVID-19 cases due to the delta variant and there is some concern about its rapid spread.

George B. McCune, 92, passed away on July 8, 2021, at 4:09 am, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, surrounded by his loving family, which is also the 26th anniversary of his grandson Cory's passing.

George was born August 31, 1928 in McFadden, WY, to H. Burdett and Geneva (Burkholder) McCune who both preceded him in death. On  June 23, 1950 he married Sara (Bracy) McCune who survives in Bluffton, OH.

Tracy D. Hosler, 54, passed away on July 7, 2021, at 6:29 am, at Findlay Care Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Tracy was born July 11, 1966 in Bluffton, OH, to Diana (Mathewson) Reichenbach and the late Glen Amstutz. She was later adopted by Sam Reichenbach who also survives.
