The American Red Cross along with the Bluffton Fire Department and Bluffton University Serve Team will be go door-to-door as part of its Home Fire Preparedness Campaign.
Byron “Barney” Spallinger, died Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Grand View Hospital. He was the husband of the late Arlene (Reiff) Spallinger who died in 2008.
Born Jan. 19, 1928, in Beaverdam, Ohio he was the son of the late Homer and Elizabeth (Augsburger) Spallinger. Mr. Spallinger was a graduate of Beaverdam High School.
Hilty Preschool & Child Care, Pandora, hosts an open house for parents of prospective 6-week-old through 12-year-old children from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 10. The event is for summer and fall registrations.
