MEDIA RELEASE__The Bluffton-Pandora Swiss Community Historical Society will hold its annual Christmas Open House at Schumacher Homestead on Saturday and Sunday, December 6 and 7. The nearly completed Heritage Center will host some of the activities. Both the Heritage Center and farmhouse will be decorated for the season. Costumed docents will be on hand as visitors tour the house, summer kitchen and workshop. 

MEDIA RELEASE__Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, will celebrate Thanksgiving with a song service, beginning at 9:30 a.m., on Thanksgiving Day.

The theme is "Celebrate the Lord's Blessings with Joy."

The hymns are: "We Sing the Almighty Power of God," "We Praise You, O God, Our Redeemer," "Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven," "Sing to the Lord of Harvest," "Now Thank We All Our God," and "Let All Things Now Living." 

Pastor Bob Krueger's sermon will be based on Ezra chapter 6.

Sharon K. Kizer, 83, passed away November 20, 2025, at 11:45 pm, at Springview Manor Nursing Home.

A private burial will be in Woodland Cemetery at a date that is to be determined.
