FROM FACEBOOK__The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that ticket are now on sale for the November 20 Jingle Bell Stroll: "There are a limited number of tickets, so be sure to get yours before it's too late!" Hours for the event are noon-7:00 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased at Polished, The Black Lab Trading Company, roots by Strattons, or Shirley's Gourmet Popcorn Company during their regular business hours.

A public screening of "Unexpected Peace" at 7 p.m.

NOV 4 MEDIA RELEASE__D. Michael Hostetler, award-winning producer, director and communications consultant from Kitchener, Ontario, will present "Making the Documentary Film Unexpected Peace" during Bluffton University's Forum at 11 a.m. on Nov. 18 in Yoder Recital Hall.

Hostetler will introduce the process and vision behind his new documentary, which explores nonviolent and community-based peacebuilding practices that challenge traditional responses to violence.

Early November sunsets have provided some additional fall color to Village of Bluffton views.

FROM LINKEDIN__Ohio Northern Professor Emerita Judith Greavu will have work on view at the Fisher/Wall Art Gallery, Marathon Center for the Arts in Findlay, Ohio. "Beyond Nature's Realm: Eco Explorations" will be exhibited Nov. 3 - Jan. 23, 2026 and an opening reception will be held at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 9.

NOV 5 MEDIA RELEASE__The Institute for Civics and Public Policy (ICAPP) at Ohio Northern University has released the Northern Poll, a survey of Ohioans dedicated to providing cutting-edge insights on public opinion on “backyard issues.” This poll covered four zoning issues: solar farms, multi-family housing, marijuana/cannabis dispensaries, and AI/data centers.
