FROM FACEBOOK__The Bluffton Buzz Facebook group collected a stunning array of November 11 photos of the Northern Lights seen in and around Bluffton. Scattered clouds and stars added some bling to the solar storm.

NOV 5 MEDIA RELEASE__President Alex Sider and the Bluffton University Cabinet invite alumni, donors, friends and members of the Bluffton community to campus for a Holiday Open House from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, in Musselman Library.

Guests will enjoy Christmas carols, festive treats and the opportunity to connect with university Cabinet members, faculty and staff in a warm, welcoming setting.

FROM FACEBOOK__Bluffton Board and Brush owner Betsy Lee announced, "We celebrated 7 years in business this weekend, and thinking back over the years, my “love tank” is full.

"Seven years in, and the one word I would use to describe it all is: GRATITUDE! I’m so grateful for every one of you — for your kindness, your encouragement, and the joy you’ve brought into our studio. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms and so much enthusiasm.

NOV 10 MEDIA RELEASE__The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly breakfast meeting on Friday, November 14. The meeting will be held on the third floor of the Town Hall and Twisted Whisk will be providing the breakfast at 7:00 a.m. 

The November program will be provided by Sarah Ricker, owner of Whirlwind Productions

Sarah specializes in empowering nonprofits and small businesses with marketing strategies and solutions for their events and fundraisers. She is also an expert in creating marketing material, updating websites and designing business logos.

NOV 10 MEDIA RELEASE__Thank you to all of our participants and congratulations to all the winners. There were 189 photos submitted for this year's contest. All of the winning photos can be viewed on our Flickr page Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District.

The Bluffton Fire Department will hang store front and light pole garlands on Saturday, November 15 beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Store front garlands need to be placed outside in advance.
