The results are in for the 2025 Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce Scarecrow Decorating Contest: Skyler Thomas and Hunter Foust of GROB Systems came in first place in online voting. Thomas and Foust built the winning entry in two days, with design input from Evan Steiner. Rene Gabriel presented the traveling trophy, which will rest in the GROB trophy cabinet for the next year. Second place:Citizens National Bank; Third place: Et Cetera Shop.

When a building outlives its original purpose, what happens to it? Upper-level students from Ohio Northern’s Art & Design program asked this question about Ada’s 1887 Pennsylvania Railroad Depot at Central and Main. During an 8:00 p.m. outdoor event on October 23, they projected their visions onto the building.

FROM BSC NEWSLETTER__Members of the Bluffton Senior Citizen Center have recieved their monhtly update on what's happening at 132 N. Main St. for the next month. Among events scheduled are the center's Annual meeting for members and Blaze of Lights activities for the whole community.

The center will be closed on November 27-28 and will be open all day on Saturday, November 29 for the Blaze of Lights.

Injuries to the knee are among the most common and concerning for athletes, active individuals and even those who experience accidents in everyday life. Two of the most frequently injured structures in the knee are the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and the medial collateral ligament (MCL). While both serve essential roles in stabilizing the knee joint, the nature of their injuries, symptoms and treatment approaches differ in meaningful ways. 

Ready for a little extra sleep? This weekend, Daylight Savings Time ends and clocks get set back an hour at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 2.
