Four Bluffton High School boys soccer players received Div. IV All-Northwest district honors, including one first teamer, in voting recently conducted by the Northwest Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association.

Pirate Isaiah Kohli was named first team all-district.

Chase Kelly, Ethan Blount and Gavin Amstutz each earned honorable mention all-district notice.

The 2025 Pirates ended up 6-10-3 overall and 3-0 in the Northwest Conference.

Four Bluffton High School girls soccer players received Div. V All-Northwest district honors in voting recently conducted by the Northwest Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association.

Pirate senior scoring leader Aubrey Burkholder was named first team all-district in Div. V. The co-captain led the team with 16 goals and 12 assists for 44 points.

BLUFFTON__Visiting Collins Western Reserve scored 14 points in the final seven minutes to rally and upset the Bluffton High School football team 36-31 in the first round of the Div. VI, Region 22 playoffs on a slippery Harmon Field on Friday, October 31.

The Pirates led 31-22 before the Roughriders scored on a long touchdown pass, followed by a critical turnover and another CWR six-pointer with 2:16 remaining.

The seventh-seeded Pirates end their season 8-3 after the difficult defeat.

OCT 29 MEDIA RELEASE__ON Saturday, November 8, from 3:00 to 6:00  p.m., County Line Church is turning its grounds into a place for families to laugh, play and make fall memories together. The church will host its first-ever Fall Fest, with the whole community invited to join in.

From bounce houses and hayrides to caramel corn and games, there’s something for everyone—and it's all completely free.

"We love this community, and this event is just one small way to give back," said Pastor Chris, the Sr. Pastor. "We hope families will come out, have fun and feel right at home."

The 2025 OHSAA High School football playoffs kicked off Friday night, October 31, with round one games in all divisions. In Division VII, Region 26, the Pandora-Gilboa Rockets (7 seed) hosted Blanchard Valley Conference foe Arlington (10 seed) for a rematch. In the regular season, the Rockets won 24-14 in Arlington. In the playoffs, the Rockets made it two-for-two, pulling away in the second half for a 42-20 win.
